Misto
The Misto has dark leaves with light green feather-shaped veins and a violet underside.
Calatheas are named after the Greek word for basket. The flowers (which are very slight) are arranged together resembling a basket. This plant is originally from Brazil, where it is part of the undergrowth.

Care tips
- The Misto prefers places that are not too light. Do not place it in direct sunlight
- The temperature must remain between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius (59 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit).
- This plant needs to be watered regularly but not abundantly.
- Adding plant food in the water every fortnight is very beneficial to the colour of the leaves.
